MUSCLES

Pitbulls and Friends rescued Muscles in Lemon Grove after a series of wildfires in East County.  He was limping down the road being poked with a stick by two young kids - but he had a big goofy smile on his face.  He had seemingly escaped a fire  - the pads on his feet were raw and his belly was burned.  He had been on the run for about a week and had crossed several freeways.  Muscles' healing and rehabilitation took two years.

RALPH

GRACIE

Gracie was found tangled in a wire fence alongside the freeway. Gracie was starving and bitten up all over.  She had been on the run for a long time, and she had traveled very far. Gracie's health was very poor, both physically and mentally.  Pitbulls and Friends took Gracie in and gave her a warm bed, a full bowl of food every nite, a loving family and a pack of pitbulls that loved her. Gracie, our beautiful Australian Cattle Dog, has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
